This is exciting! We’re open for the 2010 season! With the warm weather we’ve had, we’ve been able to get open earlier than ever! If you are thinking on coming up to Weirs Beach this weekend, stop by -we’ve got a cottage for you!

Day two of rain… my feet are wet…my dog won’t go out… Bring me the sunshine!

Yeah - can you believe it! You know what that means…summer is just around the corner!

Glide along Lake Winnipesaukee! Book a 3-night stay with us for July or August in March and get a complimentary Kayak rental for two! (some restrictions apply)

Yeah! That means Spring is getting closer. That means the sun is higher in the sky and the days are starting to get longer! That means we are getting closer to opening up the cottages and Inns!  That means that ice-out on Lake Winnipesaukee could happen any day now (well, I’m not sure any day…but very soon!). That means you will be back to visit us in Weirs Beach! That the boats will be out on the lake and we’ll hear the rumble of motorcycles and we’ll smell the blooming flowers  and the Lakes Region will start to buzz again!

As the snowflakes are coming down it’s vacation week here in the Lakes Region of NH. We’ve not had much snow so it is a welcome sight for those who are here vacationing and want to ski/snowmobile etc.

That being said, to all of you that have been bombarded the last couple of weeks with storms and tons of snow…are you ready for Spring yet?

If that’s the case, it’s only a month away; ice-out on Lake Winnipesaukee will be right around the corner; salmon fishing starts April 1,  and in a couple months we’ll be open…does that make you feel any better? I know what would make you feel even better…booking a cottage for a Spring getaway weekend!

PS our famous magnolia tree usually blooms right around Mother’s Day!

Units have been booking fast and furious as of late. We’ve still got 75 Tower St. house, Cottage 9 and the Captain’s Suite available for the week as well as a smattering of smaller cottages for parts of the week. Don’t delay, let us know what you need and we’ll be happy to accommodate!

If you are still looking for lodging for the 2010 Timberman Triathlon, we’ve only got a couple of units left. If you are new to the event, we are just 6 miles from the start of the race and are a very popular location for lots of racers!

Laconia Motorcycle Week - we are located right in the heart of the rally so you can walk to the vendors, nightclubs, beer tents etc. We’ve still got a couple of large units open and of course, rooms and smaller cottages… if you want to be in the center of the rally, check us out.

The Soulfest - we’re just a 1o minute ride over to Gunstock Mountain and the Soulfest festivities. We’ve still got a good selection of units available for the festival!

Not looking for event lodging but just want vacation/relaxation lodging? Well, we got that too!

We’re half way through the month of January and folks have started to make their summer vacation plans.
