What an AWESOME weekend we just spent!! As always, our welcome was warm and genuine, thank you, Dyan…our cottage was spotless and ready for us.
We bought kayaks because of the great time we had in August when we rented kayaks from The Cozy…we brought ours up with us, and with one from Joe and Dyan, my husband, younger daughter and I went kayaking on the Lake on Sunday. UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL, what an experience!! The Lake was a gorgeous sapphire and being on the Lake in a kayak is one of the most personal, awesome ways to “connect” with Nature at Her Best.
The nights were chilly, but the heater worked perfectly in our cottage and we were nice and toasty warm.
Joe, Dyan, we had a PERFECT weekend. Thanx so much. I can’t wait to return…and if I have my way it will be BEFORE our reservations in August!!

I can’t believe a full week has passed since our stay. Our vacation was idyllic…no better word for it. Even the weather was perfect: a couple of thunderstorms thrown in for good measure. The kayak rental this year was a brainstorm; I wish we’d done that before. But it will be a part of our vacation from now on!! I even took a picture of the side of the Lakeview…because that’s part of our ‘view’ from our porch. I got pix of the Lake looking its sapphire splendor, silver, and slate grey…just so I can look at them when I yearn for “my” cottage. “It’s the middle of August” is right…school starts in less than 2 weeks. But I’m ready…I had my “Lake Fix”. Thanks again for an awesome week!!

That’s part of the reason I decided to wait until August this season; summer school kept me busy in July, then a week to look forward to staying with you, a week staying with you…and then two weeks to revel in the memories before I have to go back to school. It doesn’t get much better than that.

I don’t know about the cottage having my NAME on it, per se, but I sure saw my colors waiting for me! Wish we could’ve spent more time with you, but at least I have 3 days of peace and quiet to smile about when my classroom gets hectic. LOVED being at the Lakeview…those times never last long enough. Dyan, you are the best! Thanx again!

We had a great time and cannot thank you enough for everything you provided for us. We LOVED the Tower Street house and will most certainly be back next year. We have decided to make your place our summer getaways each year. Thanks again!
